Leveling Kit...

Yeah, ive been through the tech library on here but didnt find exactly hat im looking for, heres my situation,

i have a 1994 ford ranger short box regular cab that is a nose dragger, and i dislike the look very much, it has 28" kumho road venture at's on it and im wondering what size leveling kit i need, i want it to sit level with the ground... use whatever info ive provided and ask for more if you need it, and also what things do i need to do a proper leveling, thanks

You can buy leveling kits for it, or you can make your own out of washers. usually it takes 2 in to level it, but if the nose is sagging more, than your springs are probably worn out too.

Install is a snap you don't even have to get new shocks if ur on a budget, though I recommend them for the added wheel travel and comfier ride. Also, you might want to align when you're finished as you'll probably have some camber issues (if you don't already). But again, that's not a requirement just a recommendation.

You will absolutely need an alignment after if you want to keep your tires from wearing bad. The camber will be off pretty bad after.

Rough country also offers a leveling coil...I netted 2.5 inches

Option 3 is the cheapest. That's what I used for my truck. Except I ended up making the coil spacer good for 2.5" of lift. I installed 4x4/Explorer coils thinking "Heavier truck, slightly stiffer spring". I thought it would bring my truck to a stock rake (1.5"). Instead they ended up settling back to where my old springs were. That led me to the washer lift which I ended up buying enough washers for a 1.625" spacer which netted about 2.4" of lift. I had to align with adjustable camber/caster bushings from Moog. Hope my experience helps.

Expect this:

I have 3 degrees on passenger side and 4 degrees on driver side off camber....You'll need camber bushings for your balljoints.
