Lets see your rock sliders

yeah pottsy does damn good work, you know what I almost bought a bumper from him. but I recently bought a MIG setup instead so Ill be doing my own fab work.

still dont know exactly how Im going to mount them up. drivers side looks like it will be a bitch....gas tank, fuel lines, wiring, e brake

would all of that need to be removed if I weld them on?

I wouldn't weld the sliders directly to the frame, if that's what you're thinking.
The frame flexes a lot and after some time might crack around where the rigid slider is welded to it.

Just make some brackets like I did and bolt them up. I was able to do it no problem without having to remove the gas tank or anything else.

good deal I made up some brackets and gussets for them I think my neighbors are beginning to hate all the noise from my angle grinder...maybe theyll throw down on a plasma cutter and we'll all be happy

Its nice having a little step for cab/bed access and they should protect the rockers just fine

4x2" 3/16th box. 2x2 3/16th box legs.

Not on yet but this is what they will look like. I cut the stock rockers out which is why the body looks funny.

I kinda like the truck with out the rockers. If anything major ever happens to mine I will remove the rockes and build some heavy duty sliders.
