Bought a VR8000-S Winch today...Can't wait to try it out SO EXCITED

My front bumper:










Its just a conglomeration of a lot of stolen ideas from other members. I had to cut out a lot of header panel, grill, and remove the hood latch to fit the winch in, but worth it IMHO for the approach angle. The bumper slides onto the frame and bolts on with 6 grade 8 bolts, so I can work on my truck with more ease.
Construction is 1.75" .120 wall DOM, and the winch mount is 3/8 just because thats what I had lying around.

finally got my front bumper and skid plate done

Nice work! Looks better than those you can buy from auto shops.

FYI there is an under-coated-black '93 Ranger in the Hawkins Point, MD junkyard (Crazy Ray's) with homemade plain tubular front/rear bumpers with an integrated rear hitch. They charge around $100 for the pair (ish) somebody go get it before they crush the truck.

newest one ive built over the summer. after i did the gen 4 cab swap i ran with my old gen3 custom bumper and it worked but didnt line up well. so i came up with this new guy.
