Finally finished my front bumper

I'm still considering adding a small stinger and some tubing to protect the headlights. I would also like to mount a couple of lights to the bars.

center section in-between framerails is a piece of 4x4x.25 square tube, .25'' plate is used for everything else, mile marker winch fits up nicely behind factory grill without cutting grill...there was some pretty substantial cutting involved...:icon_confused: :icon_welder: :icon_rofl:

snowy wisconsin winters and stimulants lead to creations lol...:icon_rofl:

:icon_confused:

Warning

The above project is not for the faint of heart!! Im not done yet:icon_twisted: :thefinger:

It probaly needs another winter:icon_surprised:

nice bumpers guys really inspiring. ive got a buddy building my design with a 3d printer. hope it comes out nice

Built another bumper for my 2010, this time not as heavy :icon_twisted: Still needs a bit of work to be done, shackle mounts, and outside corners need to be done to the wheel wells. Minor.

that looks awesome man, have any pictures of how you did your mounts?

I had bent my front crossmember (the original where the stock tow points were mounted too) So i cut it out, ran a piece of angle iron across welded to two plates, at both sides and bolted it through the frame with 4.5x5/8'' grade 8 bolts. (2 per side) I then came off the angle with two plates (1/4) and tied it into the front portion of the bumper, a 3/8'' plate was used for a winch mount to tie the plates together. Solid. I did however end up with a little gap, but i'm not too concerned about that. I will however be getting it Line-X spray coated. Also doing a rear for my truck as well, then EB44 SAS 3 link front, 4 link rear later down the road ;)

Looks good, wish I had the budget to linex the bumpers, just rattle cans for now, but the rear is done and mounted
