Ok, here is my 99 Ranger 8 months after I bought it off the show room floor. It was totaled at 22,000 dollars in damage. My fiance at the time ( now my wife ) were traveling on a back road at about 50mph or so and hit some black ice, it hit the ditch and rolled 3 times and landed back on her wheels. She was still purring like a kitten. Everything happened in slow motion, I remember I had time to think "oh shit this is going to be expensive" the moment the air bags deployed. Heres the good thing though, about a 1/4 mile before the accident, something told me to look over at my wife. I did, she wasnt wearing her seatbelt, I told her to put it on, 1/4 mile later it saved her life as well as mine. I'm not a religious man but you gotta think about things when something like that happens.

You must have gotten the burn out edition of the Colt. Gives you an extra 500 RWHP with 3000LBS FT of torque and the fancy seat shwag, but since the car is small, they had to go with smaller muffler bearings and a larger blinker fluid reservoir, which really weighs the car down (don't ask why smaller muffler bearings are heavier then larger ones).

Here is my moms old car that I wrecked. I got t-boned doing a u-turn by my passengers girlfriend in a Jeep Cherokee.

By the way, the car still ran. I even was able to drive it over to the side of the road. Only thing is the steering box got pwned, so it's harder then piss to steer.

I'll post one up of my dead escort and one of my most recent damage to the danger ranger. Guy said it was my fault for running a stopsign. Funny thing is, he rear ended me.:icon_confused:

I told him that the police station was right down the road and that I'll walk on down there with his plate since it was lodged in the bumper. we ended up settling on him giving me a 50 for a new bumper. His hood, grill, and bumper was trashed. I guess he realized who's fault it was when he heard the word "police".

Funny thing is... I was picking up a bumper this weekend anyway.:idiot:

I'll edit in the pictures tomorrow.

They guy that caused this was about 20 years old, and high as all hell on drugs. He was doing about 70 in a 55, and crashed into my mother as she was pulling into a driveway (left hand side). He ended up on his roof, she ended up not being able to walk for over a year. If I ever see him again, he's going to be the one that won't walk for a year this time. Cars totaled.

The description for this is above in the origional message, but I would also like to point out that he ended up using his car like a wedge, and became lodged under my bumper. Funny as hell the damage his ride took from that. Scraped and crumpled hood, shattered grill, and his bumper was cracked. I guess it was fiberglass or something. Stupid little cars.
