Just got myself a white 03 fx4 yesterday. My plans for the truck are to keep it stock, but make it look good. Im not lifting it or putting huge tires on it. I want to keep it simple, but yet look bada$$. created this thread to get some ideas! and i know there is a search button, but its to time consuming!

Lets see those Fx4's!!!!!

i bet you lift it.the bug will get you sooner or later.enjoy!

I just realized that I don't have any recent pictures of the whole truck....

Here's a shot of the front.

I just ordered new Soft 8's from Cragar and some 285/75/R16 BFG's but I probably won't get around to getting them mounted until after the holidays.

I want to lift it and put 31 or 33's, but i dont want to lose gas milage. I know its a truck, but idk. I might try some black rock crawler rims with some bfg ATs, but idk about lifting it. i do want a roll bar with lights on top, but i cant find them anywhere. i want a simple single bar with lights.

plans so far

-tail light blackouts
-ebay black housing headlights/corners
-Tint windows
-Roll bar with lights
-simple sound system

thats all i got planned for now, but im sure more will come! first i gotta worry about getting my license plates!!! haha

heres some older pics of mine. no lift.

i have made some changes though.

the 4wheel drive manual lever is on the floor and the electrical knob on the dash.

im going to say NO...unfortunitly. the 4x4 switch is on the dash. is it a big deal? i dont plan on much offroading?

OK dude you will get a lift, and probably 33's so dont fight!

WHEN you do get a lift and tires, you can basically keep the gas milage you have now. Thats were new gears in your axles come in. Regearing can basically make the vehicle accelerate, drive, and have mpg like normal, or close to it.

Get some pics, and make good use of the tech forums.
