Let's see those explorer center consoles

I am wanting to do an Explorer center console in my truck but I want to see some install pictures from others who have done it to see how different ones look and hopefully get some ideas for mine.

I am heading to the junk yard tomorrow to hopefully get a explorer bucket and a console. I will take some pics when I install it and post them up.

Well went to the junk yard yesterday and couldn't find 1 usuable console. So the hunt continues I will post pics once I get one and install it.

well was finally able to pick one up in the local yard had to piece it together from 3 different explorers and the arm rest is gonna need to be re-covered but all in all i am happy especially since it was only 15 bucks! Hoping to clean it up and install some time this week so I will post pics once its done.

Here's '93 stuff in an '88.

I put part of an old arm rest on the lid to help support the arm rest on the console.

I am looking for another of this console for a project. The PnP's are raping me for parts. If someone has one or can find one and get it to me for around $50,
I'll jump on it.

I havent actually gotten my secured down its just still kinda sittin in there but I can tell you this. With the type of cup holder that is side by side if you have a tall cup you will hit it in second and reverse. I am currently looking for the other style cupholder the one over top of the other kinda lower profile which should work out great.

probably. i had planned on redoing my entire interior right before my tranny blew. oh well necessities first

I put a 2002 Expo console in my 96...fits good..but isn't perfect where it meets the dash. But I can live with it!
