they work very well for the amount of space i had to work with. i built boxes onto the backs of them and then put some polyfill inside to make up for the undersized enclosures. theyre 8" JL 8w1v2 being driven my MTX road thunder rt202 amps. ive got a third MTX rtp202 amp that runs my door and rear speakers but its on the fritz right now and its driving me nuts! im going to add some more sound deadening this weeked (on the floor) to get rid of a bit of the 'in cab' road noise, ive already done the doors, the extended cab area, and spots on the back wall that are accessible.

my drivers door looks like that right now because someone spilled some soda pop down it. I let stuff like that slide to much since i have vinyl floors, oops...

How do you like it being a shorty? Do you have to lean at all to reach it?

Bahaha. I could always do something like this to my shorty and make it come back closer to me...... Weld a horizontal piece of metal where the ball mounts, then a vertical on the end of that. So it would be like a long shiifter that has a crook in it.

Im sure I could make something that would be half decent.
