ok im not that mad yet, but i have a 95' ranger 2.3 5 speed 4X4 that is just being a SERIOUS pain in the ass......a few weeks ago it started running like crap spit sputter stall out and bogg down. so i changed the fuel filter and pump. didn't work...i then ran two scanners on it which only came up with a code for one of the coil packs. I replaced it with a new one and it still doesn't work. i just checked the timing to see if maybe it somehow jumped off but everything is lined up perfectly. i did a tune up on it a few months back and changed and gapped all the plugs, and wires...so now i have ran out of ideas.....i know that its getting good fire to the plugs to i tested that......if there is anything that im overlooking please let me know.

check you fuel pressure with a gauge your pressure regulator may be bad.

When you dropped the tank to replace the pump, you didn't replace any fuel lines, did you? My old man replaced the portion of the lines at the pump, but left them a little long. A few miles down the road they kinked and the truck wasn't getting enough fuel.... it was a poS-10 though.

.... and I just read that you replaced the pump after it started happening, nevermind!
