“Fair offer” is debatable…. Some may take that so it doesn’t sit and rot, or it’s in the way. Some may so no bc they are wanting to make a profit from the parts.

But $450 is not worth it to me. It may be perfect, but I only wanted the dash itself to help a friend. Don’t need all the wiring or console.

Before you jump off conclusion cliff, read my post. I put a price for everything total in my post after I was asked too. So I've done what the rules require me to do and what I was asked to do. Why are you jumping in this conversation trying to bully somebody over a rule that I complied too when I asked? That's the better question here. Furthermore I wasn't arguing, I was stating a fact. That me and him both knew that wasn't a fair offer. It was low-balling. Your making this something it isn't , it doesn't involve you either way .

He asked for an offer. I gave him one…. Now he thinks I’m “lowballing” him. What it’s worth to him and what it’s worth to me are different.

To me, $100 wasn’t a low ball offer for the dash, he wanted more, and that’s fine. I even asked him for his price 1st thing…. He could have given it to me then, but instead asked for an offer from me. Furthermore, only AFTER my offer, he the informed me that it also included th wiring harness (which I didn’t need/want) and th overhead console (again, don’t need/want). I offered him $100 for the bare dash.

The fact I am (actually was) a Ford Technician has nothing to do with my offer …. And to be frank and honest, I don’t like how he keeps saying I “knew it was a lowball offer”…. I sometimes forget how others are allowed to speak for me and my thoughts…

Either way, I no longer want the dash…. Even if he took my original offer.

I need to add, he did give a lump sum price for “all (his) leftovers”…. But then stated he’d take a “negotiable price for individual parts”.

He didn’t negotiate, he immediately got mad that my offer didn’t meet his expectations….

Welcome to selling parts kid…. You don’t always get your asking price…. Which is why a lot of people have garages full of stuff they can’t and won’t ever use…..

Now I’m done with this thread unless I am directly spoken to….

You are creating your own agenda. I asked you for a FAIR price and we both know what you offered me wasn't. I called you out for low balling me which you did and that's the end of it. No hard feelings or anything else from my side but now you and this other guy wanna bully and act like I'm a bad guy calling things out. What does me telling you what all comes with it for the price I offered you have anything to do with this ? It would be different if I have you a price and you thought it was for both seats and it was only 1 and I waited to tell you that after the fact. But I'm telling you that you get all that stuff for the price I offered it, which means your getting more than just the seats. Your reaching for a an excuse to push your narrative and it's not working out very well.

I'm not your kid, guy. Closer to being your dad if anything and for sure a much mature version of any age you may be. I didn't get mad, I called you out for low balling and you got butthurt. I'm not complaining in any way about not getting my asking price. That literally makes no sense, my asking price was for everything, what I offered you was just the seats and other things I mentioned coming with it. Your making yourself look stupid is all your doing.

Dash, easy enough mistake but still my mistake. You definitely got your butthurt over me calling you out for low-balling. Proofs here to see, but I moved on and gave you a price and told you what came with it and instead of you making a fair offer you decide to get all in your feelings about it because how dare me call you out. You didn't give me fair price, now your just trying to back up your agenda with lie even you don't believe. You know that's not a fair offer, but if you can make it seem like you really believe it is then maybe it doesn't look as bad on you or make you look as stupid as you do. You would think that at this point and how much more stupid you look with each post you would just stop. But you must enjoy looking a fool because you haven't stopped. Continue on , the longer it goes the worse you look.
