Hello everyone, heres a new problem that i just encountered yesterday. My left turn signal doesnt work. When i push the lever down to turn it on, the arrow pointing left on the dash comes on and stays on... it doesnt blink. At the same time neither of the blinkers light up. Even if i hold the lever between on and off, it does the same thing. However, there is nothing wrong with my right signal, it works perfectly.

Anyone have any idea whats going on?? Im stumped. I searched this site for something similar and i had no luck finding anything. Thanks for your help.

It's just a burnt bulb. Turn the signal on, get out of the truck and look at the front and rear turn signals. Either the front or rear bulb will stay on and not blink, just like the indicator on the dash. The one that doesn't light up at all is the burnt one.

It's just a burnt bulb.

I replaced both the bulbs on my left side to make sure... nothing happened. The light still stays on and doesnt blink. I tested the bulbs on the other side and they are not burnt out. Could there be a short or something in a wire but it seems like that should take out the whole system. Im stumped.

Have you checked the flasher relay?

If it was a bulb whichever one was still good would have been on constant as well as the indicator on the dash.

I think it might be the relay... im gunna replace it today and see if that does the trick.

Why worry about it just drive backwards when you need to turn left, uuuummmm I mean a backwards right - huh?

LOL - Just kidding man, yeah I agree with the relay/flasher - good luck.
