If I were to replace my 3rd brake light with one of these LED bulbs,

would I need to get a resistor? (I think thats what its called) so it doesn't make my other lights do weird things? (Like fast blinking turn signals).

you only need a resistor if you're using the leds for turn signals

i bought a led strip to put in the 3rd brake light. the whole light now lights up

Ok, cool, thanks! I would get a bar for my whole light, but I have those stupid dim cargo lights...

I have an LED bulb in my 3rd brake light and it is always on when the truck is on so you may need one. I also have LEDs in my brake lights but those arent a problem so im not sure why the other does.
