Leave just on Hub Locked

will it hurt anything (like mileage or break something), if I leave just one hub locked in? I don't have a locker.

I don't drive it much and i would like to keep everything oiled.

It won't hurt it but I wouldn't leave it locked in all the time, just lock it in when you gas up every month or two and unlock it when ya get home. The oil coats everything, is sealed and never gets washed off so unless you get water in the diff you should have no worries.

I don't think that it is necessary to do this but if you are concerned with keeping everything oiled then just shifting into 4hi with the hubs unlocked for a mile or 2 will move the lube around, just be sure you're stopped when you shift it in or you could damage your transfer case, as the front axle assembly isn't spinning.

uhmm... just locking one hub won't lube anything.. The one spider attached to the axleshaft will spin, but nothing else. You will need to lock both hubs... or better yet, while sitting STOPPED shift into 4WD and drive with the hubs UNLOCKED for a mile or so. Then shift back into 2WD while stopped again.

It is not good to run one hub locked. Causes the spider gears to spin at an extremely high rate of speed.
