Leather rod bearings...

I love watching this dudes videos but this one I found particularly interesting. They made rod bearings out of an old leather belt... and... it worked (sorta).

He did a few series on using wood/ plastic/ or whatever as a head for a lawnmower engine... none of them lasted long lol

Is he the one that made a wooden piston and put it in a 3.5 hp briggs?

He made wooden pistons for a lada, not sure about the Briggs.

All sorts of other crap too. Tires fulled with cement, "tires" made from coil springs, welded 4 4cyl motors together into an i-16 and put it in a lada, the list goes on, good stuff
