Leaning Rangers

I have been driving around and i have noticed numerous rangers that lean to one side or the other(mostly driver's side). I too have this problem on my ranger and it is not broken springs. I think my problem is that my bed has too many spacers on the passenger's side. I am not sure if this a typical problem or not. Tell me what you think.

They all do it eventually. The real issue is weight distribution. The fuel tank, driver, and on later years battery are all on the same side. For a 1/4 ton pickup that is a lot of weight all on one side and it wears the springs out faster on that side.

I'm pretty sure mine doesn't lean anymore, I got rid of the big fuel tank and put one in the middle behind the rear axle, so what adsm said about too much crap on one side.

Amazingly my truck does not lean. I do however believe that mine is the exception and not the rule.

it is typically with 2wd rangers and not with 4wd rangers as much.

I had an 87 stx that leaned a bunch. I had bigger problems with that truck to worry about than a lean though....

My 84 Bronco 2 does the same thing, except towards the passenger side, previous owner tried to fix part of it with some sort of add on leaf spring in the back, which didn't do crap LOL. I'm thinking shocks and springs are to blame.
