The windshield leaks on the passenger side, I can see water dripping but only when I'm driving. If it is sitting it doesn't leak. Anyone else ever have this problem?

After looking at dangerranger83's photos of the Indy Spring Meet (looked like 'April' showers that day), I was wondering if leak was "gotten rid of"-

Nope, it still leaks. My passenger wasn't to happy. Looked like he pissed all over his leg. LOL

Has anyone looked into it? I imagine the sure pressure forces it through. Path of least resistance and all that.

the seal could be shrinking or drying out on it. someone could have done a shitty job installing the last one.

i dont know if you have insurance on it, but they usually wont cover a leaky windshield, normally it has to acutally be broken. if you want them to cover it, i'd have a neighborhood kid throw a rock at it

just smear some ugly ole silicone on it and call it a day.... lol

actually, in my personal experience, this is one of those things i'd go pay a shop to fix... and make sure they will warranty their work

I've already put silicone on it twice. Still leaks. I'm not to worried about it anymore. The carpet will get ripped out sometime this summer.

Maybe it's best for the windshield to come out & check out the clips/fasteners. Clean, prep and apply a new bead of sealant.
All that 4 Wheeling could have tweaked the cab to the point that the windshield is not seated properly.
Not worried...? Do you turn the radio up loud enough NOT
to hear any complaining-

Not worried about the leaks anymore. Told my friend if he didn't like it, he could ride on the bed....LOL

mine does the same thing, but on the drivers side, and when its sitting... it needs a new windshield anyways, im gonna pull it and clean it and have a new one installed...

They sell a windshield sealant at most parts stores. I had a leak above the rearview mirror and put some of the sealant along the molding about 4 years ago - it hasn't leaked since.
