When i first got my truck it has a valve cover that leaked so i replaced the gasket in it. Now i smell the oil cookin that dripped down on the exhaust manifold. I was wondering if there was some kinda spray or something to get that oil deposit off?

if you are very carful, drive it to a car wash and use pressureized water and engine cleaner mode......again if your carful

My Ranger smoked so bad you could see the cloud coming out from under the hood when stopped. I replaced my valve cover gaskets and just drove it. After about a week there was no more smell, cloud, and all the oil had burned off the head and manifold.

thanks for the suggestions...ill get some engine degreaser tomorrow
