The front seal where the driveshaft goes on the axle seems to have a very slow drip leak. It doesn't appear on the ground but shows by blowing onto the rear cover and splattering up under the bed. How hard is it to change it?

Put rear axle on jack stands.Remove tires. Remove diff cover (catch oil that falls out). Remove bolt holding crosspin in (where the spider gears are). Push axle shaft in and remove the c-clip. Carefully pull axle shaft out (dont bump the spiders as they will fall out. Immediately put center pin back in and just stick the bolt in the hole so they dont move. Put axleshaft to the side and check for any wear. Remove the seal and use a slide hammer to remove bearing. INstall new bearing and seal. Put back to gether and put gear oil in. If limited slip is present, put the correct additive in.
