Do all leaf springs fit all rangers? Are they universal fit so to speak? I am looking at a 85 4wd ranger's leaf springs for a 96 2wd ranger. Thanks

I have an LMC Truck catalog that shows leaf spring packs compatible with 83-97 ford rangers. The difference is there's a 4 leaf or 5 leaf pack, which gives either a more soft car like ride or a bit stiffer ride but better hauling/towing capacity. Other than the difference in those 2 yes they're compatible.

All years of ranger/explorer and b2 rear leafs are the same lengths with the center pins in the same locations.
