Hello,

I wasn't sure if this is the correct forum but, I am rebuilding my Leaf Springs on my 1988 Ranger and was wondering if anyone knew where to find replacements for the plastic wear pads that snap through the end of the leafs.

Thanks,

You get a whole spring pack from the junkyard.

I'm scratching my head as to what there is to "rebuild" in a spring pack. If one of the leaves has broken, it's a good bet that there are some cracks or other fatigue issues in other leaves.

The primary goal is to replace the rubber spring eye's with Energy Suspension bushings. I separated the leafs to clean and inspect and thougt it would be a good idea to repace the friction pads while I have them apart.

Any reputable spring shop should be able to sell you the teflon spring pads...call around your area.
