i just got a1990 ranger with a six inch suspension lift. on the back they used blocks and now there is no bow in the springs they are flatt. what i the best way to get rid of the blocks and get the six inches of lift thanks for any help

custom re-location of hangers.... and or fresher 97 up 2wd ford leafs or chevy post 80's springs. the pre 97 2wd 150 springs are bolt in basically save forenlarging hangar holes.

try to get lowest mile possible springs when going used..

its a bit of work but you can tailor it to your needs.

If springs are so flat, they should be replaced. I did. I discovered that brand new leafs will nicely restore the (about 3") appearance of a lift. I'd keep the blocks. You can also put in a tall shackle when you replace the leaf springs.

I would recommend new 6" lift leaf springs (such as Skyjacker) along with the BellTech #6400 Chevy shackles and then run them straight atop the axle (no factory block).
