Just a little info. for anyone replacing the front spring hanger on a Ford (Ranger- Mazda) truck. The bushing that seizes up around the bolt at the eyelet of the leaf spring is available as a replacement at NAPA. The part # is: 274-6542. Price : $ 10.51 + tax. I just purchased 1 today. We cutoff the hanger, then cutoff both ends of the bolt that goes thru the spring eye. Next took a 1/4" drill bit and drilled out the rubber grommet in multiple places inside of spring eyelet to Free the bolt and inner tube. Then we cleaned out the remaining rubber inside of the spring eyelet. Finally, cleaning up the area with a wire brush cone and Never-seizing both pieces drove the New bushing back in to position using a gear/wheel puller or a large C clamp. Again, Never-seizing the bolt thru the hanger and bushing and tightened up. Job Completed. NOW it's Time for a couple of these>>>:beer::beer: Hope this Helps anybody trying to replace the Spring Hanger on the front of the Rear Leaf Spring (passenger side).:yahoo:
