late 80's f150's

They are OK, although I'd rather have an 80-86 truck. They have the good manual transmissions and I like the body design and interior a lot more.

+1

I also prefer the looks of the older trucks, both inside and out, the 80-81 trucks without the oval in the grille look even better yet IMO.

My next truck could very well be a 80-86 F-350 for a tow pig. Something cheap that I wouldn't feel bad about not being a dd, easy on the eyes and won't flinch at my tractor hauling antics... right now I am about at the comfy max of my F-150.

I know I would like a dollar for every person that has learned how to drive a manual on the T-18 in my dad's F-350. My brother and I + probably 75% of everybody that has worked for him... gotta kinda hook it into third but otherwise it still shifts great at a shy 300k miles.

thats what i got 88 f-150 ill tel ya what i got a pos but it let me rebuild the motor cam roller rockers be cool rad with flext a lite tranny cooler hence the name haulmax :P
