Largest tire on stock wheel?

What about the white steel ones that look like this.

6" wide, 235/75-15 is about the limit if you go with the recomendation charts. I doubt the base gray wheels the OP has are any wider.

Used alloys are a cheap option to get a jump up in tire size, I got mine for $75 for the set that are 15x7.

OK... Heres the recap...

I should be able to run 33x12.5x15's with a set of 15x8's with a 3.75 backspace on my '89 B2 with the stock D28, 7.5 rear & the 4" lift??

No problems?? What about 4" backspace?

===============

Thanks for the help guys.. I want to get this back on the road within a couple weeks..

How dare you desecrate a pony car like that!

I'm just messin with you. :) Dig those wheels!

you gotta trim your fenders. im runnin 33's on 3.5 backspacing and i scrub under articulation. and while turning sharp.

I have Bushwacker Cut-Outs already... I've decided that I'm going to go with Cragar Soft 8 Wheels, 15x8, 4" backspacing & 33x10.5x15 tires. :headbang:
