Lack of 4x4 Woes. Anyone got a D35 R&P?

If you check out the Bronco grave yard, they have some rebuild kits for fairly cheap. I was just looking, but cant remember the price. Maybe I'll post up a link for ya, if I get time.

Here ya go man:icon_thumby:

It's a little more expensive then I thought, but totally worth it. And I wouldn't F around with anything except 4.56's if I were you. No point in swapping gears, if they aren't going to match your rear. And DON'T sell your truck, that thing is pretty sweet, and you have too much work put in to it, to sell it over such a small problem.

Bump, I've been busy and kinda forgot about this thread. I have a D35 TTB not IFS I believe, thanks anyways.

Here is the pictures. Nathan said its too bad and hes a smart guy and I trust him...but my wallet is hoping that someone will pipe up and say I can still put it in :icon_twisted: If not I'm still looking for the stuff I need. If no one can sell it to me cheap I will pony up the $$$ and buy it all in the new year. Merry Christmas Everyone! :icon_cheers:

Ugh, looking at the pics reminds me of how bad it looks. I don't know much about diffs but that looks likes more that a chip

Lol, no...I would have to agree with Nathan, that is phucked.

Haha I knew that :( Just had to hold on to hope...well...there goes another $500 bucks for me. Haha

Just buy a new ring and pinion, reuse your bearings.

Yeah? Nathan as saying I should get at least some new ones..do you need new bearings for installing ring and pinion? Do they get wrecked taking the old R&P out?

Just do the new ring and pinion, and be careful using the puller to get the pinion bearings off. I've done it a few times, and it's not too hard.

I've reused the bearings before, will be soon when my 8.8 gears get here..
