Now a good time to 4 link the rear, but over all good job and nice truck.

Thanks guys, flexes real good, but I think the soft front end make the back not flex so well. Maybe when I get more weight back there it will flex better, otherwise I will start looking into alternatives. I don't want to 4 link it yet, would like to stick with leaf springs for stability.

Driving down the road...another story, kinda scary. It wont center and wanders a little. Plus I have a little bump steer, which I knew would cus my drag link is longer than my track bar by a couple inches....but when I go high steer that will all change, just wanna make it work for now, any ideas on the wandering? The soft front end is suprising stable on the road, so I am happy with that.

holy flexin batman!!!!!!!

not sure what the wondering could be. do you have a long enough drop pitman arm?

then again, were talking about a straight axle so i dont think it would matter as much as it does for ttb..

also whered you get those airshocks? they would be kickass on my 79 lol

I think the wander is a caster camber issue...not sure.

I got the shocks from the TRS parts store.

Thanks!

a little toe in will prolly help the wander.....also what is your caster???

you want some negative caster to help with the self centering...

flex's good :icon_thumby:

yea it deffinantly looks like the back needs to be softened up, looks damn good man proops on the build....

LETS HIT THE TRAILS!

Damn Kyle! Maybe I can follow you around next time!

I'd take the truck to a shop and get it on an alignment rack. That'll tell you where you're sitting now. Who knows, maybe it just needs trued up and it'll drive straight as an arrow.

Yeah, the toe is about 1/8 in, but just with a tape measure. My caster is about 5*, (top ball joint is behind the bottom) seems like that should be enough right?
