would definately be efi

I agree to go with efi. But i ran out of time and had to go with carb for simplicity.

k. time for some pics

about everything went as planned 1 plan has changed in that the spare will slightly be angled. looked way too blah sitting flat. it will be raised to the point that the window will still be able to be opened.

Still need to undercoat the box but that wont be for another week as that is how long the sealer needs to set before it can be painted. start on trimming out the interior and building a gate of somesort since everyone has said it looks unfinished right now

will post up pics soon.
factory tails, tire is well protected by the bumper but does hang out of the "bed" as for a gate i;m not naking one but have thought of running a cheesy windgate just to keep large stuff in for trips to camp and when haulin my boat

to keep the monsters at bay here is an old pic to chew on...yeah the truck gets some odd looks at the launch

thanks. its not perfect by any means. definately has some flaws. have to look for them but they are there. would have looked alot better had i locked the garage door after it was painted. too many people stoped to check it out and even tho the paint wasnt tacky it now has some nice finger and palm prints in it and has 3 spots where somone leaned to the point that it smeered the paint slightly. i also did my share of damage too as there is some nice checkerboard on the passanger rear top plate from my hoodie and a spot wore thin where i drug a cord over it. It looks good from 5 feet away so im happy. i figure someday maybe just maybe i'll aftually paint the whole thing.

last trip out I realized my tree saver was missing luckly I could remember the last place I used it.

was going to start on the tire mount and look into building a gate but I bit the bullet and decided to sand down the flaws in the paint and hopefully reshoot them and be able to blend them back in.

the deciding factor was that I now have a plan for finishing the rear corner to bedside area

I need to find a good excuse to move up there. The wheeling and back country looks nice.

hahaha still need to do some figurin and see if I can make that work under the explorer. came off a ramcharger that I scraped out. bought it for the iroks but the exhaust was only a month old. so i couldnt see scraping that too.

This looks really good man, makes me want to go cut into my explorer... Someday.

just about done with the wiring mess. eliminated as much unneeded wireing as possiable. only wire's that continue past the front seats is for rear lighting, rear defrost, and soon will be running all new audio wires

wish I wouldnt have misplaced my camera. If I wouldnt have you would be looking at pictures such as

The truck outside on all 4 swampers.

what a pile of over 600' of wire removed from an explorer looks like.

the truck back in the garage on the new to me but low on tread 40x17x15 swamp donkeys (ground hawgs) that I'm gonna run as street tires

the headliner cut and back in

The side trim panels cut down and reinstalled

Thats all for now.

Now where did I put that damn camera
