No, i often just show up at 1 of the camps I frequent and present a bottled peace offering for some laughs and warm place to stay. harder to find a place to sleep when you show up with 6 trucks instead of the planed 4 . kids and wives has been mentioned as well which is 100% fine on any of our annual "GUY ONLY" trips. these camps can get pretty rowdy around deer seasone

wheelin ended up pretty good. started out with 5 trucks in the morning and 2 of them droped off about 5 or 6 in the evening and 1 more droped off at the very very end of the night before hitting up the camps. so showed up with two truck (3 people) and had no problem finding spots to sleep.

So here are some details: Ran 3 "trails" covering about 25 miles in 4 or 4 low, Covered over 100 miles on gravel, Burnt 15 gallons of gas,Used the chain saw several times, Spent a very short period of time on pavement (15 miles). Spent WAY too much money between getting breakfast, linner, gas, munchies, and other camp neccesities. Had alot of fun and close to way too much fun.

started at 9:30 in the A.M. getting breakfast and a general meeting point for everyone. Hit the store in the same parking lot as the resturant for odds and ends before getting into the woods.

jus getting hubs locked in since the night before we got a good little snowfall of about 6"

the obstacle previous to this one i had to get pretty aggressive with the throttle and my front/front U-joint started making awful noises so i threw in the towel early on this hole and just winched. got thru and greases the front joint was able to limp it for the rest of the day/night

no pictures of the fix but ended up gettin it all back together and bettwe than before. even had time to enjoy a little camp fire, greasing my front shaft and had time to change a half shaft in the MJ on 40's

and for what ever reasone there are no pictures from the second and more fun trail. also unfortunately the vehicle with the only camera did not continue on to the night wheelin where we encounteded several DEEP water hole iced over with 2-3 inches of ice. making sevral slow speed attempts necissary as to break away the ice slowly preventing damage to grill, headlights, and radiator. only other "issue" for the rest of the trip was the s-10 started to have issues early on with rear brakes locking up due to repeatedly packing with slush and ice. lemme tell u the trucks really didnt want to move after getting parked overnight. they made some BAAAADD noises when first taking off. I'm waiting for one of these times a seal freezing to a shaft and tearing it apart upon attempt to pull away. drove home down 2 track roads that were completely iced over making progress pretty slow at best

I really like that S10's front bumper!

unfortuenately the s10 is falling apart now. it had a very hard life prior to being built. he just picked up a s10 blazer to build and is going a little different route with it. the bumper will be going to te blazer but thats about all. goin to running a hp44 and a 1/2 ton rear of some breed have a chrysler 9 1/4 or a ford 9" that might make its way in. even tho he is on 38's the 10 bolt front and 14bolt rear catch everythin on the trail. several times he wa hung up where the wrangler on 35's had just gone thru

Send some snow down here. We missed out last year.

no tailgate goin on this one. If i need to haul stuff home from the store or up to camp I have a trailer othwise just trying to imporve a couple of issues I have for the explorer. Visability, bring the C.O.G. down a bit by removing metal up top adding down low and folding the spare tire all the way into the bed. A little more usable space to throw stuff that gets muddied up. and Of course to look cool DUH
