hopefully be adding alot more video's before deer seasone or before there is too much snow to wheel

not going to wheel thru the winter again. truck got nelected from garage time and I want to have it 100% for spring time

Trucks looking good man! Sorry I couldn't make it wheeling the the other day. I had the whole ttb setup torn out trying to fix my drop bracket issues. I cannot wait to ditch the ttb and go full width's lol. Hit me up if your gonna go wheeling again if should be able to make it this time.
 
Before deer season, when does it start for you up there? Our archery/muzzleloader season started a few weeks ago!
 
when I refer to deer seasone i'm typically refering to firearm deer. archery started awhile ago. i like to think every year that i'm gonna be in the woods for firearms seasone but i havent been out in several years now, work has allways been priority
 
hevent done a whole lot with the truck aside from flogging it down 22 miles of washboard roads to camp the past few weekends. probably why i now have some slop in the trac bar rod ends, missing an anti rattle clip on the passanger caliper which is driving me NUTS! and likely have a ton of loose hardware.
 
Soooo....I rebuilt my manual transfercase after finding the chain was stretched. it now takes some convincing to get it into 4wd. have to ease in and out on the clutch. even took it back apart to look everything over and found all good.

I dont really need more power but i need more crawl. ive been juggleing either going 1350/54 doubler (allready have the both cases) or swaping to a 302 (which would have to be efi ) and then possiably running a gear to gear case and doubler i just keep going backand forth with equall good arguments both ways.

all opinions welcomed

Doubler. If I couldn't say it enough, doubler. Even if you go V8, you need a doubler. Ask Railman, he was all about not running a doubler... Then he started too... Then he slowly was introduced into the awesomeness that is a doubler.
 
The only weak link to the doubler is the custom shaft that has to be made. But if made right your golden. Other then that making it looks straight forward.

If you go v8 and want crawl, the np435 has the first gear for that. And if you want to choose which tires do the work, put a np205 behind her with the dual stick mod. I'm not sure if doing a np205/208 doubler will allow for you to be able to do the dual stick mod, haven't looked into it much.

Buy mavericks kit off here and save hundreds.
 
if/when i go doubler 50/54 it would be a kit. heard of way too many shop jobs failing. if I go v-8 i would likely put an auto behind it. I'm in no position as of yet to start ordering stuff. or else I would be all over it. still recovering from the slow summer at work. has been busy for bout the past month so i'm just now digging out. probably be december by the time I can start buying.
