Kroussin 93 Explorer build

I need a thicker wallet first. then i'll look into upgrading shafts and joints. DO NOT WANNA GO ONE TON ! that is unless i find a set of built axles for free.

If all go's well over the next day or two i will probably find myself off the grid again doin somemore wheelin up north

progress report from tonight.
solved high R miss/hesitation
completely removed power door lock's from all 5 doors (actuators and all)
completely removed power windows from the rear 2 doors (didnt allways work anyways)
cleaned inside and out. didnt wash or vacume just sprayed off and swept.
repaired passanger window switch (used swith from rear door)
repaired driverside front door panel that had came apart last month.

tomorrow i plan to'
repair the pasanger rear innerfender
remove factory amp and install audio pipe jumper
remove carpet from cargo area since its gone everywhere else.
start on checking/changing fluids
lube and inspect all joints if time allows

got everything done that i wanted to except grease and check joints.

didnt need to change any fluids as they all still look great. the axles have been changed a couple of times since they were regeared so should be no need to change them again. the engine will be due pretty quick but i'll probably do that and change the trans ans t-case at the same time since those havent been done in since they were in the mazda

really havent been on here in awhile. life's been super busy. but ive been getting a little time here and there to make it out and about in the truck. doing another one of my famous week before once overs and trying to get some projects ive been thinking about for awhile. hopefully this weekend takin a wheelin trip and camping at the mouth of the huron river on lake superior.

will try and update with some quick snipit shots of wheelin here and there.

Great time wheelin this weekend. 3 trucks 8 people covered alot of ground.
left the house at 9:30am hit the trail by 10:00am and got home around 10:45pm. stoped once for for lunch and once again to eat,swim,relax.

Secon half of the trip

mouth of the huron river on lake superior and wildcat canyon headed south.

Superior was pretty cold but the river wasnt too too bad. Fly's were horrible tho. dog didnt seem to have one care in the world tho water was just fine and thought trying to eat the flys seemed like a fun game.

Dried off hightailed it back to the truck to avoid the fly's and on the road again. had a good deal of gravel roads but were back on the trails before too long.

Yes I am rockin swiming trunks and boots.

Only incident of the day. end of the day done with the trails headed back towords town. a little too much speed. a little too close to the ditch tryin to avoid a tree and a little to little driver experience with this truck (first time out in it since it was stock)

B. i really really miss the mazda at time's. but there are other times i really really like the explorer. some day it will have an extended cab or be a chop top and we will see how that works.

and explorer is doing o.k. allways needs a little somthing but for now it is doing o.k.

I want to get an exploder but the fiancee says if I do, I cant touch it so thats why I have my play toy.

i cant "not touch" somthing. i can never leave well enough alone.
wife's new jeep got bigger tires even tho she doesnt know they are bigger than what was one it. when i ordered them i just went up one size which she would have never approved of. just told her they are bigger cuz the have tread whereas the last one's were running low on it. hahaha.

Neither can I, I just have to mod something of mine. Basiclly personalize it and then some.
