Hey guys, could somebody explain knuckles to me, im not sure what they exactly are and where their located on the axle, and what is a flat top knuckle and why is it such an improvement?

These are Dana 44 knuckles, the lower left is a flattop, the upper right is a non flattop. This is essentially the piece that contols your steering, as well as the spindle bolts to this, and the axleshaft passes through it. The good thing about a flat top knuckle is that you can bolt on steering arms to the top, for ott or high steer, moving your draglink and tierod higher on the axle for less bumpsteer, and higher clearance.
