King of the Hammers - Which events to spectate?

I can't make heads or tails of the KOH schedule. Someone want to dumb it down and explain the events?

2024 KOH Schedule - King of the Hammers

My son and are flying to CA for part of King of the Hammers and plan to spectate and camp. I may have some flexibility on the days we attend. As of now we arrive Jan 26th and leave Tuesday Jan 30th.

been some years since i have been there.

your interest is the deal there.....every man challenge is entry level and the side by side and dirt bike sort of stuff seems entry level but gets high dollar quickly.

i would have to study it for quite a bit but if i were to go i would want to make the actual big boy class.... matt 347 i am sure is going and was hoping to have myself attend that but i can not this time.... maybe you can work a deal with those guys...

Depends what you want to watch? Motorcycles, UTVs, trucks? Looks to me like -

Friday (26th) is mostly pre-running
Saturday looks like VW racing - short course & desert
Sunday - Limited, Unlimited & Buggies desert racing
Monday - Rock course pre-running, UTV qualifying race
Tuesday - Every Man Challenge qualifying, Kids race

If I was going & limited to those dates I would probably try to watch Saturday & Sunday. If you can adjust your dates and stay for the Every Man Challenge on the 2nd and Race of Kings on the 3rd, those would be worth seeing.

Just depends what you are interested in... I'd go and watch trucks, don't really care about UTV racing at all. Motorcycles might be fun to watch.

no matter what...packfor extreme weather cold to hot.......have lots of water available and plan on transporting that....

it will be epic fun....if you prepare. epic suck if you do not.
