Fuel pressure should be around 75 I think. Replace the regulator, look into getting rid of/replacing the cat converter and then replace the mentioned sensors. Then if it continues, replace the fuel pump. Jeeps can be a pain to diagnose. On a 97 up the fuel pump is a beeyotch to replace. You have to drain and drop the tank which is no easy task. Drive it till it's empty before doing this. My fuel pump went out the day after I filled up and I could NOT siphon the gas with the tank in. Had to drop it full with a floor jack and then siphon from the vent hose.

EDIT: the regulator is on the fuel pump so you'll have to drop the tank anyway. I think the pump/regulator/sending unit are all one assembly. I scrapped my electric pump assembly.

The problem isn't because it's a Jeep. It's because it's a Jeep Cherokee. Those things are worthless. Any Jeep... CJ, YJ, TJ, Willys, ect. Those are the real Jeeps.

i found it!!!!.....O2 sencor.....i unpluged both of them last week....she put 300 miles on it and nuthing......she is home today so i will plug both in and drive it intill it f#$@s up then unplug one at a time intill it cleans up.......
