Kinda rare?

How often do you see a reg cab short box 4.0 5 speed? I just came across one of these a few days ago for sale, and never saw one before. Always 4 bangers or 3.0's, never a 4.0. Anyone else see them?

I've seen them. But most of them can in a 4x4 with the auto. Only a few I've seen that came in a manual, but still a 4x4.

My 99 was 4x4 4.0 5 speed. I miss it, it was paid off.

I thought I put 2wd in my post, but I guess not. It is a 2wd. I kinda figured there was a few 4.0 4x4's out there, but a 2wd??? And a stick????? I'm suprised to find it wasn't a swap or anything either.

I've been all over. Currently living in Milwaukee and working in Kenosha. Working 50-60 hours a week, so i'm usually sleeping when i'm not working. Or trying to live a little... Even managed to throw in two trips back to ohio within the last 3 months. That's about it though.

I use to have a 1992 2wd 4.0 5spd short bed, short cab.
I'm almost positive it was stock cause it was only a few years old when i had it.
I wish I had never sold it.
It would haul buggy!

This one is for sure stock, and it's a 99. I test drove it and it definitely hauls.

Well if the price is right, get it! You've got the 4x4 for the Winter, time to do the Explorer swap into what could/would be a real screamer.
Glad to see at least you're working, sure wouldn't like those hours anymore, did it for too long. See way too many people looking for work, I droped out and left room for a couple of others. One of my replacements didn't last too long, something about a five hour standoff with the Wausau swat team. They say some "Beverage" was involved
