well today is the day my truck goes in the shop has to be there in ten minutes and well i dont think it wants to go cause my keys are hiding somewhere where i cant find them

Happens top me a lot!!! Not just keys.
Good luck,

Richard

What are you doing posting grab your spare!

Never happens to me. We have a place for all the car keys to hang in one place. Spares go in a special hiding place. Never lose one this way. You need a plan, Stan, no need to discuss much...get on the bus, Gus.

I hide my own easter eggs......

Keep one in your wallet problem solved

i found a great solution for keeping track of all my shit, i bought a wife

That's great but remember they (wives) never forget anything, especially stuff that pisses them off.

My solution is to not lose my keys, has worked good so far.

Sent from the road while ignoring traffic

oh, i dont have to worry about that either, every now and then i give her a little shot from one of these

I keep 4 sets of keys for any given truck. First thing I do when I get a new to me truck. One set goes with my 'rents (because I know it will not get lost). One set goes in my key collection. Two sets get carried on me when I'm driving any given truck (one set gets used all the time and the other is a backup set). So far it's been pretty foolproof.

Only once did I make the mistake of leaving keys in the ignition of one of mine. The engine was halfway tore down and it was missing some other important pieces so I didn't think anything of leaving the keys in the ignition.... Until I discovered the keys gone... along with the lock cylinders....

But that's ok, security methods have improved since then....

I just break the lock so I can turn it without the key.

haha yea my mom found them after i went to work it took her 2 hours to find them and needless to say the dog took them haha. i got the truck back about an hour ago it was running rich the timing needed to be set and the compresion in all the cillenders are low so now im in the search for a 4.0 and transmission

Must be nice to be Straycat. Never loses his keys, has the best of everything, has lots of friends in all corners of the earth, never had a hemorrhoid, never rains at his house......

Stray... let the sun shine on the rest of our asses sometimes, will ya?
