keyless doesnt work

On my '96 explorer I unhooked the batter last night to start wiring for an electric fan relay and now when I hooked it back up the keyless doesnt work nor does the keypad on the door. Why?

check the usual fuses and whatnot. do the electric door locks work with the button on the door?

sounds like something happened to the security module...if all the fuses are good, your probably going to have to have a dealer plug into it and check it out.

got it, just disconnected the battery cables again and cleared the computer then started the truck and it worked.
