i had a kenwood sub, 12" rated at 600w, but that thing was great!! had loud clear bass and never gave me trouble, in my opinion kenwood has good quality, also my uncle has kenwood speakers in his car, same thing, good sound and they are like 4 years old, bought the same day as the sub i had, had to sell it cuz it didnt fit in the ranger(had a tercel before), a buddy of mine has it now, 4 years and still sounds great

whoever said quality amps are underrated was dead on, my rockford amp is good for 800rms/2400 peak but the birth sheet put it at 930rms/2575 peak, same with my buddy's alpine amp it was 400/1200 but really is 460/1330, ken wood subs and head units are amazing also.

i have kenwood 6x8 3 ways all around and have had no problems. sound so much better than stock. Ive had 1 pair for 5 months and the other for a week or so and they sound great. plus im only giving them about 1/4 the rated rms. can only imagine what theyd sound like getting the power they should be

i got the kenwood head unit i was looking at i really like it, and i got it at a decent price. so far i have no complaints. i'm looking at a kenwood 4-channel amp to run my speakers now. i just hope it doesnt all fall apart in 6 months... lol
