My newer Kenmore washer will spin, but not drain or fill. Selector switch??

Check that the taps are turned on...the washer won't drain if there is no water coming in...does it go through the motions of washing (agitator moves back and forth or the front loader types spin back and forth)...
could be a selector swith or relay...you might find info on their website about the specific model otherwise...
Never had a problem with a washer though...dryers...yes...only problem I've had with washers is the drain hose kept popping off the drain...

The older models have a sensor that reads the water level (it's like a diaphram pressure switch) perhaps the wire fell off or the tube disconnected.
