They do, ceramic pads are usually used with higher quality rotors. But at the same time if the pads last longer and rotors are the only thing you replace it might be cheaper, I always change rotors when I do pads, unless Im broke.
I hate my ceramics. they don't stop as well. At the same time they don't cover the ranger in dust and they are quiet but its not worth it if they cannot be great at there primary function "stopping"
