I think I was thinking what you're thinking when I looked at the mounting options.

Here's a question for ya James. Do you think the newer taco snorkels would work on a ranger? I've been looking at them and they look like the should mount up OK. I know the 80s Toyota well fit the 90s rangers. But I haven't seen anything for new rangers.

The 90's rangers should be the same as ours... You're talking about Anthony's body style, right?

I honestly don't know about the snorkel... I might be able to get you a good price on one if you want to try though...

So update on the retrofit. Was talking to my buddy again. He coming to Edmonton in a few weeks and as long as he can get the parts here's the plan.

Quad retrofit (2 projectors in each side) since well be using the spot where my turn signal is the round halo light for that projector well be converted to orange and be my new turn signal.

My fingers are crossed he can get the parts within the few weeks.

yeah mine is the same body style lol i think hes talking about the old boxy ones ( not sure what year it changed)


and Kirk, that sounds like one hell of a project with the projectors haha why not just buy a set that already have projectors in em?

or get the ebay projector retrofits...

typically the halos are CFL, which will not work for turn signals!

these ones are decent, though they are only available in 6000k now... you will need a 35w ballast in addition to this kit

Gotta do some research first and buy some of the wiring ill need. Need to take apart my other headlights too.

One set has halos. There's still. Few things I have to get before I can make it work though. Need a shroud for one set of projectors need bulbs leds for my signals
