K.Strong build

The same thing happened to my fogs, except they didn't crack. And I haven't gotten around to ordering new ones.

I was all excited today to get the new black headlights installed... then gkt called into work.

My new grill came in today and I popped a headlight in to see how it looks.

Sick! What was the old grill like again?

Old was one the exact same. This one I got off Rockauto. I was expecting it to be gloss but its more of a matte light black..When I first opened it I was a little pissed, but once I got it on the truck I determined it looked ok.

Also found a small issue with the Daylighters. Unplugged the wiring to take the lights off to swap grills and a crap load of water came out of the wiring. I planned to keep them off the truck anyways.

I called it! Told ya you shouldn't drill a hole in the bumper!

A small piece of electrical tape on there and you'll never know the difference lol.

I talked to my mom about selling the truck and getting a used one. Long story short we determined it would be better to keep mine since it's paid off in 2.5 years, and the cost of the used one with interest well be similar to what I owe on mine and I'll be stuck in a loan for another 4-5 years.

Thinking about for a sound system putting two 8" subs in my jump seats. Any thoughts? I realize it won't be the correct volume for a sub(I also don't mind making a new seat thats slightly bigger), but I'm not going for insane sound, just want something that's out of the way and not taking up all my space.

Next time you come by my place, remind me to show you my sub... Mtx 10" in a custom ported box... Sounds incredible! 8, in my opinion are too small... You really need a 12 to go with them to get them to work properly...

8's are great for the fast high note bass, speed metal type, but for anything with a concert bass drum or really low pitch resonating bass, you need something larger... 10 is a middle ground, it can do the fast hitting bass and the low tones, but doesn't perfect either...
