i got a 91 ranger with a 4.0 in it and auto tranny and trans case. i got a bw1345m out of a 84 f250 and am thinking about putting that one in the ranger. i got a really tight budget so the least amount of money i gotta stick into it the better. im good at fabbing things up so if an adaptor is needed thats no prob. i just dont want to be cutting and welding the shafts.

Nope, not going to happen.

Not only is the bolt pattern where it bolts up to the tranny completely different, the shafts will not mate together (different spline size). IIRC, the 1345 is also too wide to fit between the Ranger's frame rails.

You need a BW1354 manual case.
