Couple people have been interested. My pictures suck (and I only have a few) but here's some of my V8 ranger last spring when it was still under construction. I had it running for a couple months in the summer. Now, I've decided to pull the engine and turn it up to 331ci. Next spring when I get the truck's body out from storage I will take more pictures.

This is the mock up of my cobra engine. I am using shitty valve covers so that I don't have to worry about getting the good ones scratched as I have pulled this engine 11 times. Some of the things done to it are ported and polished GT40 heads with 3 angle valve job. Comps magnum camshaft with pete jackson timing gears (the noisy type). Umm, internally I kept the stock crank and conrods but opted for a set of KB hypereutectic pistons. An edelbrock 600cfm carburetor sits atop a powerplus cobra replica manifold.

The trans is an AOD. I installed a lentech valve body. It has a hardened input shaft and the OD servo is upgraded to an A+. I have a TCI streetfighter torque converter (about 3100rpm stall)

This is an outside pic sitting in my parents garage. (I rent so I dont have my own :bawling: ) But, the hood scoop is from a fox mustang. It is 4.5" tall. I had to shorten the hood scoop and added a slant cut that follows the angle of the windshield. The hood lines up perfectly with the stang's cowl scoop. I was really impressed that I did not have to do any tweeking. I will have this and the role pan painted when I paint the whole truck. I'm thinking gloss black with silver racing stripes. We will see...

Here is a shot of my interior. I have wrapped everything in tweed/vinyl. The speedo and tach are analog gauges from autometer. The rest are green digital gauges. B&M megashifter for my revised AOD shift pattern. (1-2-D with overdrive solenoid) The dash, door panels, and other main parts are dark gray. The trip is a light gray. All the carpeting, hood liner, and accent vinyl are black. I have procar racing seats that are light gray with black vinyl inserts. Blue LEDs give it a nice look at night with the flip of a switch.

The truck's body is in storage now, but the drivetrain is in my parent's basement. I will try to get this thing going in the spring as work should hopefully pick up again! Thanks for lookin...

(and I hope the photos show...)
