Is there going to be some slight wobble in the needle? Its ever so slight. Won't really notice it unless you pay attention but it bothers me. But it might be the fact I used the grease that came with it. Should I go buy some better lube to lube it up? What kind should I get? And could my speedo head be binding up as well? Could I lube that somehow?

My speedo was perfectly fine until I had to replace the cable with a longer one due to installing my doubler. From then on it's had a slight wobble (right around 15-25 MPH). It's gotten less with time but hasn't fully gone away.

My suspicion is it's from the cable being tightly coiled up in the package taking on some "memory" of being coiled.

That could be it. The one I replaced the old one with was quite a bit longer and was coiled up really nice inside the box. I actually had to take up some slack on the cable by doing some fancy routing.
