Hi everyone, I recently changed out my instrument panel's lights with green LEDs. Thought i'd show them off :-) I plan on eventually adding two blue ones to go with my theme. I was going to at first but ordered the wrong ones :-( Let me know what you think!

That's snazzy. Do they play well with the dimmer?

Looks cool - but the picture makes me feel like my head is inside the steering wheel - LOL.

Reminds me of Christine's dashboard and how the lit up all green.

Yes, they work perfectly with the dimmer. In this pic they are shown at full brightness.

How much brighter are those bright spots from the rest of the lit portions?

About as bright as the picture shows. Of course it can be dimmed down and its not as noticeable...but I find the bright spot where the bulb is at 3000rpms is handy for letting me know that past that point im burning too much gas! :P

Well that is one way to look at it!

Genius!

nice i just order some blue led for bdeuce, those look really good

I got the 6-LED bulbs from www.v-leds.com. I highly recommend them...very fast shipping. Be careful to read descriptions correctly though, they come as a pair.

I also forgot to note that while I replaced these bulbs, I finally fixed my ABS light. :-P

Also...before you put it all back together...make sure you put the LEDs in the correct way if you're going to install them. I simply held the instrument cluster out as far as i could with all the plugs in and turned parking lights on to see which ones were on and off.

I put blue ones in my '92. Also made a custom one for the 4x4 buttons and put one in my heater controls.

Mine don't dim, nor do I care lol.
