i had a hard time doin a back round so i just reused the old one i wish i could lifted it higher but its a pain with out my tablet. Doorgunner, not to hijack the thread, but i did take the impala out again today. Maybe ill getcha a pic one a these days.

Its probably nice and toasty outside like it is here.
I had the pipe bent to go from the collector to the muffler's today but I haven't made it back outside to put them on,its like being in an oven out there!
Not trying to discourage you but it feels really nice inside my friend......

glad you said that......I did manage to park it where I could work on it.....then went back inside...took some drugs.....z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z-z......the rest of the day.....sadness is the pits!!!!!!!

You didn't miss nothin but that humongous thunderstorm that brewed up and rained on everthing from Nawlins (at least that far east from what I could tell while I was at the Nuke plant in Taft) to just west of B.R.

I musta mis-spoken earlier....(I lernt that word watching a politician on the news}............what I ment to say was.....my drawers got soaked..............from the rain and all !!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a coincidence! When I watch politicians talk the stuff they mention scares me so much my drawers get soaked even when it's not raining!

EDIT: I was under the truk today changing engine/xmsn oil.......eyes kept filling up with sweat puddles while bolting the xmsn pan back on...Louisiana humidity is ba-a-a-a--a-d stuff......that is all...

Dude, not to dis your disconfort, but I blew through 11 yards of mulch today in 3 1/2 hours in 95 degree 100% rel. humidity = 110 heat index.

The poor kid I hired to help turned white and dropped an hour into the job.

They just don't make 'em like they used to...

yep........things went downhill when they switched to unleaded gas...ever since then--I just don't have the stamina that I once had.....there's just something extra about washing engine parts in leaded gas with 95 octane that makes you wanna do anything wide-eyed & wide open!
