Coyote....I think you're correct about the truck aerodynamics (big word)...I need to add at least 100#s to the frame (also still need to have it weighed....100#s might not be enough)...

That was Aluminum Plate for the truck bed, wasn't it? And you scratched it up already, right? Stainless steel......?

Maybe you need a HOG parked in the back for weight? does not even need to run (only attract those with nimble fingers anyways), just look good. if I remember, you have/had a bike?

Then again, just keep the speed down......Your truck is so cool, so no need to prove yourself by flying.....:icon_thumby:

Yep---scratched the inside of the bed---now it's usable--LOL....I'm still working on getting the Harley rolled up into the bed (which really isn't a problem...backing it down the ramp is the bad part)

I'm not trustin' the bungee strap.....I have to make a crossmember for the truk frame that will allow me touse....to use... the spare tire...guess I'll be crawlin under some essss-u-vees at walmart to get an idea as to the best shape for the hitch....I think there's enuff room btwn the tire & the roll-pan to put a straight xmember rather than a curved one that would match the radius of the tire...(where's that camera ? )

The xmemeber does the straight where goes to the tire and curves to the where what?

My brain cant picture it.

Glad to se that the ruck is still a DD truck and isnt a show queen, imagine the Harley pulling that truck around.

After taking a better look at the pictures I saw that the tail gate says v-8 but you didnt have one it once upon a time ago and were going to keep the v-6 in it. But thats all different now.

danger.....here's more confusion....my wife & I were gonna drive the truk to Tennessee for a week....now some friends wanna go also--which is cool...

but I gotta tow the RRRRRRanger--since it has bucket seats now---which also is cool--as long as I get to drive it in the mountains--yeeeaaaaayyyyaaah...

I gots to make a removable frame brace to bolt on to the chassis with predrilled holes in the brace to bolt the tow bar to....you with me so far ?

Reason being....I dint won't to scratch up or dent the chrome bumper by bolting the tow bar directly to it.....as shown below...

I figured whilst I'm making a crossmember for the receiver, I might as well buy enuff heavy-wall square tubing for both projects...

Any input???????

huh....huh....huh ????????????????

I'm with ya now, sorta, we went from the rear to the front and are still talking about towing.

It better be a Ford towing that For...Che....Forvy....Chord......what is it again?

I am now eatiing my words as it is now A) a trailer queen and B) its the trailer.

Your going from under sea level to above sea level, think the carb/fuel system will like that? Hope she doesnt lean out. Take a screw driver to adjust the carb. with.

You could sit in the Ranger and drive with no hands now (and it be safe(er) this time).
