REAL close..........everything was goin good til i sprinkled a little water on top of the RED polishing compound that was smeared all over the wheel....

Good thang my white.....errrr.....uhhhhh (red) t-shirt got in the way of the initial s-p-r-a-y !!!!!

I knew better, but with these V.A. meds........sometimes i just gotta do it anyway......

edit: I just laffed so hard, I got an idea.......

PROBLEM #1: cannot assemble the grill because the way it is designed---I won't be able to get the radiator fan (belt-driven) in place with the grill in place! (when I moved the body rearward to center the wheels in the fender wells, I used up the extra space between the radiator & the fan)

Problem # 2: cannot install front fenders & hood pieces until grill is installed!

Problem #3: cannot install running boards until front fenders are bolted on!

Problem # 5: cannot install hood errr uhhh.....rear fenders until running boards are bolted to front fenders!

Problem #6: cannot do any of this until fan spacer arrives!







Idea!!! If I duct-tape the fan to the water pump shaft to hold it it place, I can bolt EVERYTHING in place a-n-d install fan spacer when it arrives.....

Scuba diving war story.....our instructor put a couple shots of helium in one of the students air tank....when we got out of the water after the first dive, we were all yakking about our first dive/one of the guys sounded like Alvin for about 10 minutes LOL

I cranked on the 2.9 a little while ago...starter whined....injectors injected......plugs sparked......flames flew.....the little monster screamed to life....all 6 cylinders !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now to officially remount all the body parts......Yaeahhhhhh !!!!!!

Bahaha my Fire Tech instructers did that to the whole class with our SCBAs that was a fiasco afterwards trying to talk to my SAR team. great times...

That would be funny, but I would probably get fired if I tried that on a class at my company. We teach most client based classes. Maybe for an in-house refresher?
