Just Plain Stupied

According to this chart, the 700r4 has a deeper first and second gear, so unless you go to a higher stall, I don't believe you'll get the performance you want. If it's temporary, who cares...

SMOKEY MOUNTAINS, tell me your going to Gatlinburg, Tn.:yahoo: and let me know when and where. I live less then 30 miles from Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville.

also, that's what I was thinking that the 700r4 had a lower first and second gear, but what do I know, I'm a Ford guy.

Yep.....it/700R4/ has a slightly lower 1st and 2nd ratio....but I need the slightly higher cruizing rpm of the TH400 plus the low 3rd gear to tow the travel trailer----which the 700R4 does not have.

Also.....the 3-fitty sbc is running about 260hp with some small improvements that I made.....so low-end power and torque is no issue...it will drag that trailer up the mountains.

Just checking in.........Nope.......I didn't put the headliner in yet!

Is the cupholder joke still a thing? I feel like it should still be a thing.

Maybe there could be cup holders in the headliner....

Now that would be a thing...

awwww, come on, we want cup holders in the headliner.

It would be a marvel master piece to make it work, could also make you some money in the long run when people see it and want it too.

Whazz up Men?

I did score a nice overhead interior light set-up from my favorite-high-end Pull-A-Part yard :icon_rofl:

Now if I can finally install the nice headliner material that I've had for FIVE years :annoyed:

Looks like two of us started moving...

The Ice Age has receded up here, and I'm hard at work on the 98. Hope to have her on the road next week...

How 'bout some pics of the new hardware...

You should get cup holders that extend down from the roof when you want a drink.

I put a hamster in there and it runs on its little wheel. It's been running slow lately because of midterm tests.
