well since im keeping it for now. and my intake has some serious leak issues. and i still cant figure out the friggin hot starting issue.
it starts and runs fine cold. get it up to temps. shut it off. go to start it 5 minutes later. you gotta give it half throttle and crank it for 5 seconds. then it barely catches and stumbles and smokes for a few seconds. then its ok. it never did that with the cast manifold and 2bbl carb. ive been through 5 carbs and still has the same prob.
so im swapping out the edelbrock performer intake with a edelbrock torker intake. so im going from a dual plane to a single plane.
im gona stick in a lunati street master cam. spec'd out for me by a lunati rep.
and im gonna get rid of the summit turbos for a single di/do super 40 muffler. that should be the equivalent of a x pipe and free up some room underneath. and just sound sick!!!
if i gotta yank the intake again (which i do) might as well give her the sound shes been begging for
